Becoming a Client

Selecting a lawyer to handle your case is an important decision. Because I do not advertise in newspapers, on billboards, buses or the radio, most of my clients are referred from lawyers or former clients.

Even though we may already have a common connection, it is important to ensure that we are able to work together effectively.

I have an intake process that allows me to carefully consider whether I can appropriately allocate my time, which includes the limiting of other new cases and managing existing cases, in order to fully commit to giving you the expertise and special skills that I am able to bring to the handling, and strategy planning, of your matter.  

When you contact me for the first time, I will collect some very basic information about your matter which will help me to immediately determine if I am able to consider the handling of it. After receiving this preliminary information, I will let you know if I am willing to schedule a meeting with you in order to gather more information. Our meeting will assist me in making the final determination about my ability to represent you.
